Innovative Recovery of Winemaking Waste for Effective Lead Removal from Wastewater

چکیده

Every year, important quantities of winemaking waste create problems for wine producers. These arise from the difficulty disposing grape marc, which can pollute environment and affect nearby agricultural crops. The present research proposes a new direction valorization this agri-food in residual water depollution. Four biomaterials obtained were tested Pb removal: raw Merlot marc (MR), Sauvignon Blanc (SbR), biorefined (ME) (SbE). effects biosorbent mass initial concentration, adsorption kinetic, equilibrium isotherms matrix influence mine effluent assessed. Very good perspectives practical application lead uptake wastewaters arise, with better results compared to material. removal percentage an solution containing 20 mg Pb/L, at optimum pH (5.5 ± 0.5) was 71%—MR, 78%—SbR, 80%—ME, 97%—SbE. A Langmuir model revealed very capacity ME (40 mg/g) SbE (64 mg/g). Thus, polluting waste, turn into low-cost easy-to-prepare sorbent bioremediation contaminated water.

Treatment of Wastewater from Wet Scrubbers in Secondary Lead Smelters for Recycling and Lead Recovery

The present study shows a method to recover lead metal from wastewater of wet scrubber in secondary lead smelter. The wastewater is loaded with 42,000 ppm of insoluble lead compounds (TSP) submicron in diameter. The technical background benefits the use of cationic polyfloc solution to flocculate these colloidal solids before press filtration. The polymer solution is injected in the wastewater ...

Application of mine waste for wastewater treatment: Efficient organic pollutant removal

In this research, a high porous silicate mining waste that was prepared from Syah Kamar Polymetal Porphyry mine in order to malachite green dye (MG) removal has been applied. The characterization of this natural mineral was determined using the XRD, XRF, SEM and FT-IR analysis. The MG adsorption onto high porous activated waste was studied based on the parameters of pH, temperature, adsorbent d...
